Wellness and Screenings

We bring convenient and cost-effective wellness programs and health screenings to you. Education and wellness offerings that can save your organization time and money include:

Cholesterol Screening

A cholesterol screening helps determine and individual's risk of coronary heart disease. The test helps indicate whether someone is likely to have a heart attack or stroke caused by blockage of blood vessels or hardening of the arteries. Cholesterol screenings typically include: total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides.

Blood Glucose Screening

The blood glucose screening measures the amount of glucose in the blood at the time of sample collection. It is used to detect both high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) and low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). This screening can help to identify those at risk for diabetes or to monitor glucose levels in people with diabetes.

Blood Pressure Screening

High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but it can cause serious problems such as stroke, heart failure, heart attack and kidney failure. This simple screening will help determine whether an individual is within a healthy, risk-free range.

Body Mass Analysis

Body mass analysis screenings measure height, weight, body mass index (BMI), and body fat. These measurements help to identify if an individual may be at risk for cardiovascular disease or diabetes.

Weight-to-Win Program

The Weigh-to-Win program is a 12-week weight loss and healthy eating program designed to meet the specific needs of your business or organization. It includes weekly weigh ins and nutrition and weight loss discussions conducted by one of our nurse experts.

Tuberculosis (TB) Testing

The tuberculosis (TB) skin test (also known as a PPD test) is used to determine if someone has developed an immune response to the bacterium that causes TB. This response can occur if someone currently has TB, if they were exposed to it in the past or if they received the BCG vaccine against TB.

Presentation on adult vaccination

One of our registered nurse experts will offer an educational presentation and explanation on the importance of adult vaccinations. Explanations of specific vaccinations and infectious diseases are available upon request.
